A simple and tasty vegetable bhujia recipe that will serves as an excellent refreshment or snack on a gloomy rainy evening!
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon coriander chilli paste
- 1 tablespoon red chilli garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1-2 onions chopped
- 1 tablespoon spring onion chopped
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale dhaniya jeera powder
- 1-2 tomatoes chopped
- ½ cup roasted peanuts
- Coriander leaves
- Water as required
- Salt as required
Instructions:
- Prepare the tempering: Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add 1 tablespoon of mustard seeds, 1 tablespoon cumin seeds, 1 tablespoon coriander chilli paste, 1 tablespoon red chilli garlic paste, 1 tablespoon grated ginger, 1-2 onions chopped and 1 tablespoon spring onion chopped and saute it well.
- Add the masala: Add ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder, ½ tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale red chilli powder and 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale dhaniya jeera powder to this and give it a good mix. Let it boil and the oil separate.
- Add the rest of the ingredients: Add 1-2 tomatoes chopped and ½ cup roasted peanuts and mix everything well.
- Garnish the mixture with some chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve it hot and enjoy!
Tips:
- Grinding chilli with other ingredients like coriander and garlic helps in getting the flavour of the ingredients blend well and give a flavourful taste.
