A one pot recipe, which is easy and quick to make with all ingredients that are readily available at the comfort of your home.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 5-6 black pepper balls
- 2-3 cloves
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon jeera
- 2-3 cardamom
- 2-3 chopped green chillies
- A small stick of ginger
- 1-2 onions chopped
- ½ tablespoon red chilli powder
- ½ tablespoon dhaniya powder
- 2-3 tomatoes chopped
- ½ cup green peas
- Salt as required
- 1 bowl boiled soya chunks
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale biryani masala
- 1 cup soaked rice
- Chopped coriander leaves
Instructions:
- Tempering: In a cooker, add 2 tablespoon of oil and to it add 5-6 black pepper balls, 2-3 cloves, 3 bay leaves, 1 tablespoon jeera, 2-3 cardamom, 2-3 chopped green chillies, a small stick of ginger and 1-2 onions chopped and saute it well.
- Add the masala: Now add ½ tablespoon red chilli powder, ½ tablespoon dhaniya powder, 2-3 tomatoes chopped, ½ cup green peas and salt as required and saute again.
- Serve it hot with some raita or chutney and enjoy!
Tips:
- Add the tomato after sauteing the onion, as tomatoes cook faster than onion and it will burn if kept for the same time as onion.
