A simple and quick recipe which you can try on days you are running out of time and you want a quick fix of a meal for your lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup soaked soya chunks
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale Dhania Jeera powder
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon curd
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander
- 1 tablespoon rice flour
- ½ tablespoon salt
For Rice:
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon chopped ginger garlic
- 2 green chillies
- 6-8 curry leaves
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped capsicum
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale black pepper powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 3 cups cooked basmati rice
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
- 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce
Instructions:
- Prepare the soya chunks: In a bowl, add 1 cup soaked soya chunks and to it add ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale Dhania Jeera powder, 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale red chilli powder, 1 tablespoon curd, 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, 1 tablespoon rice flour and ½ tablespoon salt mix it well.
- Add the sauces: Add 1 tablespoon soya sauce and 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce to the rice mix and combine well.
- Serve this hot and enjoy!
Tips:
- Fry the soya chunks before adding it to the rice, otherwise it will get too soggy.
