Soya 65 Fried Rice Recipe

A simple and quick recipe which you can try on days you are running out of time and you want a quick fix of a meal for your lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

For Rice:

  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger garlic
  • 2 green chillies
  • 6-8 curry leaves
  • 1 chopped onion 
  • 1 chopped capsicum
  • 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 cups cooked basmati rice
  • 1 tablespoon soya sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce

Instructions:

    1. Prepare the soya chunks: In a bowl, add 1 cup soaked soya chunks and to it add ½ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale Dhania Jeera powder, 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale red chilli powder, 1 tablespoon curd, 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, 1 tablespoon rice flour and ½ tablespoon salt mix it well.
  • Fry the chunks: Fry the marinated chunks on medium flame until crispy golden and set this aside.
  • Prepare the tempering for rice: Heat some oil in a pan and to it add 1 tablespoon mustard seeds, 1 tablespoon chopped ginger garlic, 2 green chillies slit, 6-8 curry leaves, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped capsicum, 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale black pepper powder  and 1 tablespoon salt and saute well.
  • Bring all the ingredients together: To this tempered mixture, add the fried soya chunks and 3 cups of boiled basmati rice and mix well.
    1. Add the sauces: Add 1 tablespoon soya sauce and 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce to the rice mix and combine well.
    2. Serve this hot and enjoy!

    Tips:

    • Fry the soya chunks before adding it to the rice, otherwise it will get too soggy.
