Simple and easy rajasthani masala pyaz kachori that you can prepare with easily available ingredients at home and enjoy with your evening tea or for the days when you have unexpected guests visiting!
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon jeera
- ½ tablespoon fennel seeds
- ½ tablespoon dry fenugreek
- 2-3 dry red chillies
- 1 tablespoon oil
- One pinch of asafoetida
- ¼ tablespoon nigella seeds
- ½ tablespoon ginger garlic minced
- 1-2 onions
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale kitchen king masala
- ¼ tablespoon turmeric powder
- ½ tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder
- ¼ tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon amchoor powder
- 1-2 green chilli
- ½ tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoon gram flour
- 1 bowl wheat flour
- 1 cup desi ghee
- ¼ tablespoon carom seeds
- 1 tablespoon salt
Instructions:
- Make the spice: Dry roast 1 tablespoon coriander seeds, 1 tablespoon jeera, ½ tablespoon fennel seeds, ½ tablespoon dry fenugreek, and 2-3 dry red chillies in a pan. Coarsely grind them to a powder.
- Plate the kachori with chutney or sides of your liking and enjoy!
Tips:
- Always let the dough rest for a few minutes before frying it, as it gives time for it to rise and come to proper consistency.
