Delicious and native Rajasthani dish that bursts with flavour with every bite leaving us wanting for more. A perfect lunch recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- ½ tablespoon fennel seeds
- 7-8 black pepper balls
- 3-4 cloves
- 1 onion diced
- Ginger and garlic chopped
- 2 green chillies
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chili powder
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale dhania jeera powder
- ½ tablespoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon channa masala
- ½ tablespoon salt
- ¼ cup fresh cream
- 1 cup sev
- Coriander leaves
Instructions:
- Prepare the tempering: Heat some oil in a pan and add 1 tablespoon cumin seeds, ½ tablespoon fennel seeds, 7-8 black pepper balls, 3-4 cloves, 1 onion diced, ginger and garlic chopped, 2 green chillies chopped or slit and 2 tomatoes and saute well.
- Make the seasoning: In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chili powder, ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale dhania jeera powder, ½ tablespoon garam masala, 1 tablespoon channa masala and ½ tablespoon salt and mix the masala well.
- Serve it hot along with some rotis!
Tips:
- Use natural ginger and garlic instead of store bought ginger garlic paste for better taste.
