A timeless recipe that is sure to be everyone’s favourite. Try this little twist in the recipe by grilling the paav and experience the flavour doing wonders on your tongue!
Ingredients:
- 10-12 garlic cloves
- 1.5 inches ginger
- 2 green chillies
- 1 capsicum
- 2 tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder
- 2 tomatoes chopped
- 4 paav
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Coriander leaves
- A pinch of Bhoj Masale pav bhaji masala
- A sprinkle of salt
- Lemon juice
For onion and peas paste:
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 2 onions chopped
- 1 capsicum chopped
- ½ cup peas
For Bhaji:
- 2 tablespoon oil
- ¼ tablespoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoon coriander powder
- 2 boiled potatoes
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale pav bhaji masala
- Boiling water
- Cheese cubes
- 2 tablespoon cream
Instructions:
- Prepare the paste: Take 10-12 garlic cloves, 1.5 inches ginger, 2 green chillies, 1 capsicum, 2 tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder and 2 tomatoes chopped in a mixer and grind it nicely to a fine paste.
- Garnish: Garnish it by grating some cheese cubes and adding 2 tablespoon of cream on the top. Switch of the flame and set ti aside.
- Squeeze some lemon juice in the bhaji and serve it with the grilled paav and enjoy!
Tips:
- Prepare the onion paste and tomato paste separately rather than adding them together for better release of flavours.
