Ingredients:
- Potatoes
- Cauliflower
- Carrots
- Beetroot
- Salt as per taste
- Water as required
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon jeera
- 2 onions
- 10 to 12 red chillies
- Ginger and garlic cloves
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 tablespoon Bhoj Masale pav bhaji masala
- 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
- ½ tablespoon turmeric powder
- ½ tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 cup capsicum
- Coriander leaves
Instructions:
- Steam the vegetables: Add potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, beetroot, salt as per taste in a cooker and cook them for 5 minutes. Now add water as required in a pressure cooker and steam for 3 whistles until they turn soft. After removing the vegetables from the frame, mash them well.
- Prepare chilli ginger garlic paste: Soak 10 to 12 dry red chillies in water, remove their seeds, and put them in the mixer jar. Add some garlic and ginger to the jar and make a fine paste.
- Make the bhaji: In a pan add butter, jeera, onions chopped, 2 tbsp chilli ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and capsicum to it and saute well. Add salt, corainder powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, and Bhoj Masale Pav Bhaji Masala along with 2 tablespoons of chilli garlic paste.
Tips:
- Garnishing the bhaji with some butter at the end seals the entire taste of pav bhaji.
