Mooli Parantha & Masala Chai Recipe

A match made in the kitchen that no one can say no to! Try this tasty and simple recipe for your evening chai time and enjoy!

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 grated white radish
  • 1 tablespoon salt 
  • 2 bowl wheat flour
  • ½ tablespoon ajwain
  • Coriander leaves
  • Grated ginger
  • Diced green chillies
  • 2 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale paratha masala
  • Sprinkle of oregano
  • Sprinkle of flax seeds
  • Sprinkle of bishop seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter as required 
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale Chai Masala 

Instructions:

    1. Prepare the radish: Grate 1 white radish and add 1 tablespoon of salt to it. Let it rest for 5 minutes. Now squeeze the extra water out of the radish.
  • Prepare the dough: Add the extra squeezed water to 2 bowls of wheat flour and knead it into a soft dough. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the stuffing: To the radish, add ½ tablespoon ajwain, coriander leaves, grated ginger, diced green chillies, 2 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale paratha masala, sprinkle of oregano, sprinkle of flax seeds, sprinkle of bishop seeds and salt to taste and mix and combine well.
  • Make the paratha: Add the stuffing to the wheat dough and spread it to a medium circle with a rolling pin.
    1. Cook the paratha: Cook the both the sides of paratha on medium flame with some butter.
    2. Prepare the chai: Boil some water in a pan and 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale Chai Masala  and bring it to boil. Once it is boiling add 1 cup of milk of your choice and let it be on medium flame for a while. Filter the chai and pour it into a cup.
    3. Plate the mooli paratha along with your masala chaai and enjoy!

    Tips:

    • Remove the extra water from radish before adding it to the paratha or the paratha will become soggy.
