Ingredients:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon jeera
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt as required
- Water as required
For stuffing:
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon saunf
- ½ tablespoon grated ginger
- 1-2 green chillies chopped
- ¼ tablespoon Bhoj Masale hing
- ½ cup peas
- ½ tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
- 1½ tablespoon dhaniya powder
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- ½ tablespoon amchur powder
- 1 tablespoon jeera powder
- Boiled and mashed potatoes
- Coriander leaves
Instructions:
- Prepare the dough: In a bow, add 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1 tablespoon jeera, 1 tablespoon oil, salt as required and water as required and knead it to a soft dough. Cover this with a blanket and set it aside.
- Roll the samosa: Now, take the prepared dough and make it into small balls. Roll the balls into a flat sheet and cut it in half.
- Enjoy it with some sauce and a hot tea on the side.
Tips:
- Sealing the samosa just with water and not corn flour water helps in retaining the taste of the samosa.
