- 3-4 tomatoes
- ½ tablespoon of salt
- 1 cup fresh peas
Seasoning:

- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale red chili powder
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale sabji masala
Instructions:
- Fry the paneer: Fry 1 block of diced paneer in ¼ cup of oil and set it aside.
- Prepare the paste: In the same pan you fried the paneer, add 3-4 onions, 2 inch ginger, 7-8 cloves of garlic, 3-4 tomatoes and ½ tablespoon of salt and saute well. After it cools down, grind it in a mixer and make a fine paste and set it aside.
- Prepare the seasoning: In a pan, heat some oil and add 1 tablespoon jeera, 3-4 cloves, 2-3 green cardamom, 1 stick of cinnamon, 4 dry red chillies, 1 bay leaf, 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale coriander powder, 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale red chili powder, ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder and ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale sabji masala and saute well. Add the paste prepared earlier and cook well. Adjust water accordingly. Cover and cook until the masala is cooked well.
- Bring the ingredients together: Add the 1 cup fresh peas and the fried paneer to the mixture and combine together.
- Plate the matar paneer along with some kulcha and enjoy!
Tips:
- Add 1 tablespoon of kashmiri red chilli powder to substitute the normal red chilli powder since kashmiri red chilli powder gives the desired colour but does not make it very spicy.
