Contest worthy aloo payaz ka paratha is a recipe worth trying! This simple yet clever addition to the classic aloo paratha is not to be missed!
For base of parathas:
- 3-4 tablespoons of wheat
- 1 tablespoon of chickpea flour
- Water
- Salt to taste
Ingredients for the stuffing:
- 1 medium size onion
- Small piece of garlic
- 2 green chilis
- 2 medium sized potatoes
- Coriander leaves
Seasoning:
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale red chilli powder
- ¼ cup water
Instructions:
- Make the paratha base: Combine together wheat flour, chickpea flour and salt as per taste in a bowl and mix well with water and prepare the paratha dough.
- Prepare the stuffing: Heat some oil in a pan, add the cut onion, ginger, green chilis, salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder to it and mix well.
- Add the parathas to the pan along with some ghee.
- Tasty and delicious aloo payaz ka parathas are ready to be savoured!
