Kathiyavadi Dahi Tikhari Recipe

A quick and easy fix for days when you are craving for a delicious meal but you just don’t have the patience to prepare anything elaborate! 

Ingredients:

    1. Prepare the garlic paste: Take 10-12 cloves of garlic and 1½ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chilli powder  in a grinding stone and grind it together to a coarse powder. Set it aside.
  • Prepare the tempering: Heat some oil in a pan and add ½ tablespoon mustard seeds, ½ tablespoon jeera, 1-2 green chillies slit, 3-4 curry leaves and 1 onion diced and saute well.
  • Add the masala: Now add the prepared garlic paste, ½ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale coriander powder  and ½ tablespoon salt and saute well again.
  • Add the curd: Once the raw smell of masala goes, add 1 bowl of curd and mix well. Wait until the curd boils.
  • Garnish: Once the curd comes to a boil, add some chopped coriander leaves on top and turn off the stove.
    1. Plate the curry with some hot rotis and enjoy!

    Tips:

    • Prepare the garlic paste yourself instead of adding store bought paste to give a fresh taste which enhances the overall dish.
