Idli Podi

Who doesn’t like South Indian favorite idli podi. It serves as a perfect and quick combination for hot and steamy idlis or dosas.

 

 

Ingredients:

Instructions:

    1. Dry roast the ingredients: Dry roast black urad dal and red chillies until they turn aromatic. Transfer them to a plate and roast chana dal until it turns golden in color. Transfer it to a plate and roast black sesame seeds with rock salt. 
  • Blend the ingredients: Let the ingredients cool down until they reach room temperature. Now blend them separately in a mixer jar. Add  Bhoj Masale Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder  while blending roasted sesame seeds and mix all the powders in a bowl. The idli podi is ready.
    1. Add oil or ghee to the podi and relish it with dosa or idli.

    Tips:

    • Roasting the ingredients too much can result in bitter taste.
