Easy and delicious preparation of the famous Indian snack is set to blow anyone’s mind who eats it. Try this at home for a delicious tea time break.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup poha (Chivda)
- 1 cup chickpea
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1-2 papad
- 2-3 green chillies
- Handful of curry leaves
- ½ cup raisins
- ¼ cup cashews
- ¼ cup almonds
- ½ cup makhana
- A handful of corn flakes
- 3-4 dry red chillies
- Salt as required
- ¼ tablespoon turmeric powder
- ¼ tablespoon of Bhoj Masale chaat masala
- ¼ tablespoon of Bhoj Masale black pepper powder
- ¼ tablespoon of Bhoj Masale bhuna jeera powder
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chili powder
Instructions:
- Fry the ingredients: Fry 1 ½ cup poha (Chivda), 1 cup chickpea, 1 cup peanuts, 1-2 papad, 2-3 green chillies, handful of curry leaves, ½ cup raisins, ¼ cup cashews, ¼ cup almonds, ½ cup makhana, a handful of corn flakes and 3-4 dry red chillies separately in a pan.
- Mix the ingredients: Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and add salt as required. Close the bowl with a lid and give it a good mix.
Tips:
- Adding raisins, cashews and almonds in the poha gives it a good balance of sweet and savoury.
