Gobi Manchurian Recipe

Tasty and delicious gobi manchurian recipe that no one can resist even if they tried! Try this recipe at home for your evening snack and enjoy!

 

 

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup gobi
  • ½ cup maida
  • ⅓ cup corn flour 
  • ½ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ½ tablespoon red chilli powder
  • ½ tablespoon black pepper powder 
  • Water as required
  • Salt as required

For Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • ½ tablespoon minced garlic
  • ½ tablespoon ginger paste
  • 2 green chillies
  • ⅓ cup diced onion
  • ⅓ cup diced capsicum
  • 1 tablespoon soya sauce
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon green chilli sauce
  • 2 tablespoon red chilli sauce
  • ½ tablespoon black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Salt as per taste
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour

Instructions:

    1. Boil Gobi: Add ½ cup gobi to water with 1 tablespoon salt and boil for 4-5 minutes on medium flame. Strain and set it aside.
    2. Prepare the coating: In a bowl, add ½ cup maida, ⅓ cup corn flour, ½ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chilli powder, ½ tablespoon red chilli powder, ½ tablespoon black pepper powder, salt and water as required and whisk it make a smooth batter.
    3. Coat the gobi: Remove the gobi from the strainer and coat it with the batter prepared.
    4. Fry the gobi: Fry the coated gobi in oil on medium flame until it gets golden brown and crispy. Set this aside.
  • Prepare the sauce base: In a pan, add 2 tablespoon oil, ½ tablespoon minced garlic, ½ tablespoon ginger paste, 2 green chillies slit, ⅓ cup diced onion and ⅓ cup diced capsicum and saute it well.
      1. Add the sauce: To this, add1 tablespoon soya sauce, 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup, 2 tablespoon green chilli sauce, 2 tablespoon red chilli sauce, ½ tablespoon black pepper powder, 1 tablespoon vinegar and salt as per taste and mix everything well.
  • Thicken the sauce: Mix ⅓ cup water with 1 tablespoon corn flour and add it to the sauce to thicken it.
  • Add the gobi: Add the fried gobi to the sauce and mix everything well.
    1. Serve it hot and enjoy!

    Tips:

    • Adding vinegar gives a tangy taste and a buttery texture to the recipe.
