Desi Pasta Recipe

Who doesn’t like a desi touch to almost any cuisine? This is one such recipe which fares well with the crossover of two flavourful worlds!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bowl pasta of choice
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions:

    1. Boil the pasta: Boil 1 bowl pasta of choice with 1 tablespoon oil and ½ tablespoon salt until it becomes soft. Set this aside. 
  • Prepare the veggies: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and to it add 1 tablespoon chopped garlic, 1 cup chopped onion, 1 carrot sliced, 1 capsicum chopped, 1 cup chopped tomato and ½ tablespoon salt and saute well.
  • Add the masalas: To this add ¼ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale turmeric powder, ½ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale coriander powder, ½ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale dhania jeera powder,  a sprinkle of  Bhoj Masale red chilli flakes  and a sprinkle of  Bhoj Masale Oregano  and mix well.
  • Bring all the ingredients together: Add the cooked pasta to this and mix well.
    1. Serve hot and enjoy!

    Tips:

    • Usually we don’t add chopped tomatoes to pasta recipes, but for this desi style pasta add some chopped tomatoes or the recipe will be too dry.
