Delicious Kadhai Paneer Recipe

Bursting with flavours, this recipe is sure to leave you dreaming for many nights after you consume it!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoon oil 
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 capsicum diced
  • A pinch of kadai masala
  • Salt to taste

For frying the paneer:

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 200 grams paneer cubes
  • A pinch of kadai masala
  • 2 tablespoon gram flour

For seasoning:

For Garnishing:

  • 1 tablespoon kasuri methi
  • 2 tablespoon cream
  • ¼ tablespoon garam masala
  • Coriander leaves


Instructions:

    1. Saute the veggies: Add 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan and to it add 1 onion diced, 1 capsicum diced and a pinch of kadai masala on it and fry it on high flame. Set it aside.
  • Fry the paneer: Heat 1 tablespoon oil and add 1 tablespoon butter, 200 grams paneer cubes, a pinch of kadai masala and 2 tablespoon gram flour and fry the paneer until crispy golden. Set it aside.
  • Prepare the seasoning: Aeat some oil in a pan and add 2 bay leaves, 1 black cardamom, 2 onions chopped and 2 table spoon kadai masala and saute well.
  • Add the masala: Add ½ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale turmeric powder, 2 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale coriander powder, 1 tablespoon cumin powder and 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chilli powder and mix well.
  • Add tomato puree: Add some tomato puree or water to this mixture and combine well. Add salt as per taste. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
    1. Add paneer: Now, add the fried paneer and the fried veggies and mix well. Add water as per requirement and adjust consistency. 
    2. Garnish: Finally, garnish it with 1 tablespoon kasuri methi, 2 tablespoon cream, ¼ table spoon garam masala and some coriander leaves
    3. Serve it hot and enjoy!

    Tips:

    • Sauteing the veggies on high flame in the beginning gives a smoked and tandoori flavour .
