Lip smacking and quick recipe for an evening snack that goes well with any hot beverage on a rainy day or otherwise!
Ingredients:
- 1 bowl corn
- ¾ cup of besan
- 2 tablespoon rice flour
- ½ cup finely chopped onions
- 1-2 green chilli finely chopped
- ½ inch ginger chopped
- ½ tablespoon turmeric powder
- ½ tablespoon red chilli powder
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale black pepper powder
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale chaat masala
- Handful coriander leaves
- Water as required
- Sal as required
- 4-5 green chilli
Instructions:
- Boil the corn: Boil one bowl of corn for five minutes. Set this aside and let it cool for sometime.
- Prepare the dough: To the boiled corn, add ¾ cup of besan, 2 tablespoon rice flour, ½ cup finely chopped onions, 1-2 green chilli finely chopped and ½ inch ginger chopped and mix well.
- Add the seasoning: Add ½ tablespoon turmeric powder, ½ tablespoon red chilli powder, ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale black pepper powder, 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale chaat masala, salt as required and a handful of coriander leaves and mix it well. Add water as required and combine everything together.
- Serve the corn fritter with some sauce or mint chutney or both and enjoy!
Tips:
- Adding 4-5 fried green chillies will enhance the taste by manifolds!
