Cheesy Masala Pav Recipe

A recipe that is so quick to make and makes for good company for a cup of hot tea on a rainy evening day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6-7 paavs
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • ½ cup diced capsicum
  • ¼ tablespoon red chilli powder 
  • 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale Pav Bhaji Masala
  • Coriander leaves
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

    1. Prepare the paav: Take 6-7 readymade paavs and cut them into further small pieces and set them aside.
  • Prepare the masala: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and 1 tablespoon of  butter in a kadai. Add 1 tablespoon cumin seeds, 1 cup diced onion, ½ cup diced capsicum, salt to taste and ¼ tablespoon red chilli powder and saute well. Add 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale Pav Bhaji Masala  and some coriander leaves and mix well. 
  • Add the pav: Add the cut up pav and mix well to get the masala on top of all the pavs. 
  • Add cheese: Add/grate some mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
    1. Plate the cheesy masala pav and savour and enjoy the taste!

    Tips:

    • Mozzarella cheese will be perfect for this recipe since it is creamy and can stretch nicely under the heat.
