A simple and ever-loved chane ki sabji is a quick and one pot recipe that saves time, energy and resources! This is a must try for when you are running low on time for cooking.
Ingredients:
- 1-2 Onion
- 1-2 Tomato
- ½ tablespoon Jeera
- ½ tablespoon fennel seeds (saunf)
- ½ tablespoon mustard
- ½ tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- ½ tablespoon dhania powder
- 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
- ½ tablespoon turmeric powder
- ½ tablespoon salt
- ½ tablespoon jeera powder
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale garam masala
- 1 bowl of channa
- ¾ bowl of water
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- 1 tablespoon dry fenugreek (Kasuri methi)
Instructions:
- Prepare the channa masala: In a pan, heat up some oil and add the items for tempering - ½ tablespoon Jeera, ½ tablespoon fennel seeds & ½ tablespoon mustard and saute well. Add the cut up onion along with ginger garlic paste and mix well. Now, add ½ tablespoon dhania powder, 1 tablespoon red chilli powder, ½ tablespoon turmeric powder, ½ tablespoon salt, ½ tablespoon jeera powder, ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale garam masala and the tomatoes and mix everything well
- Add the channa: Now add the boiled channa and water as required and let it cook well.
- Now plate it with some rice and enjoy!
Tips:
- Adding sprouted channa is good for health and taste!.
- Always add the tomatoes at the end so that they do not become runny.
