Something about bombay style street food/chaat that one cannot resist. Try this pav bhaji recipe and experience the taste of Bombay at the comfort of your home!
Ingredients:
- 3-4 potatoes
- 2 cup Cauliflower
- 1 cup Carrots
- 2 tablespoon beetroot
- Salt as per taste
- Water as required
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon jeera
- 2 onions
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 tablespoon Bhoj Masale pav bhaji masala
- 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chilli powder
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder
- ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale red chilli powder
- 1 cup capsicum
- Coriander leaves
Instructions:
- Steam the vegetables: Add 3-4 potatoes, 2 cup Cauliflower, 1 cup carrot, 2 tablespoon beetroot, salt as per taste and water as required and steam for 4 whistles until they turn soft. After removing the vegetables from the frame, mash it well.
- Make the bhaji: In a pan add 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon jeera, 2 onions chopped, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and 2 tomatoes and saute well. In a small cup, mix 2 tablespoon Bhoj Masale pav bhaji masala, 1 tablespoon Bhoj Masale Kashmiri red chilli powder, ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale turmeric powder and ½ tablespoon Bhoj Masale red chilli powder and mix well. Add this masala mix to the bhaji and combine well. Add 1 cup capsicum and saute well until everything is mixed together.
Tips:
- Garnishing the bhaji with some butter at the end seals the entire taste of pav bhaji.
