Aloo Frankie Recipe

A quick and tasty snack preparation that will become a party hit and also lets you show off your cooking skills in front of all your guests! 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 4-5 chopped green chillies
  • ½ cup chopped cabbage
  • 1 chopped capsicum
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale red chili powder
  • ¼ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon   Bhoj Masale pav bhaji masala
  • Salt to taste 
  • 3 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Maida roti/ wheat roti
  • 1 tablespoon szechuan sauce
  • ½ tablespoon mayonnaise   
  • Grated cheese
  • Tomato sauce

Instructions:

    1. Prepare the seasoning: In a pan, add 1 tablespoon oil, 2 tablespoon butter, 1 finely chopped onion and 4-5 chopped green chillies. Saute it well until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients: Add ½ cup chopped cabbage, 1 chopped capsicum and 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and saute well.
  • Add the masala: To this add 1 tablespoon  Bhoj Masale red chili powder, ¼ tablespoon  Bhoj Masale turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon   Bhoj Masale pav bhaji masala  and salt to taste and mix well.
  • Add the potatoes: Add 3 boiled and mashed potatoes and chopped coriander leaves to the mixture and bring everything together.
  • Prepare the frankie base: Take any roti of you choice and add 1 tablespoon of szechuan sauce and ½ tablespoon of mayonnaise and spread it well.
      1. Add the stuffing: On top of the sauce, add the prepared stuffing in the middle.
  • Ganrish: Garnish it with some grated cheese and coriander leaves and fold the roti.
    1. Enjoy the tasty frankie as you like to have it!

    Tips:

    • Using wheat roti is healthy and also enhances the taste of the rest of the ingredients involved.
